Flash Rice: Reimu no Saisenbako OR Donation Rushing

Donations for Reimu

Yet another distraction from the world of the Locker Room Productions, the ones behind Usatei, Overdrive, Marisa Stole the Precious Thing, Border of Death as well as Phantasmagoria Mystical Expectation.

Basically, it's a clicky racer. You have 30 seconds to donate as much 10 yen coins per click as you can. The higher the value goes, the more impressed Reimu is at the end.

The thing is just so blatantly hilarious, however...

High Energy Music, Disco-type lights, and a drinking calmly miko. Heh.

My current record is below. I could do better, but that's ok for now, methinks.

276 clicks in 30 seconds....

Ani Rice: Make Your Own Meme Singer

True My Heart sung by Hatsune Miku
Levan Polkka sung by Hatsune Miku
Mononoke Hime sung by Hatsune Miku

A software known as Vocaloid has been floating around the technological world for a while. Evidentally, this new version Vocaloid 2, has the capability to emulate songs as if an actual person was taking the effort to sing the song. A build-your-own seiyuu-voice if you will. Not to mention the character design is quite cute. I think I might dabble with this software if I am given the chance to do so. There's so much Engrish song mixing possible with this. It's truly amazing, and close to the real thing.

MAD Rice: Lucky Usatei Star

Need I say more? The whole thing is animated quite well, the contexts are edited correctly, and I like the touch during the gaming scene. SMASH YOUR WIKIS.

Ani Rice: Haruhi Follows Your Mouse Pointer!

Haruhi Follows Your Cursor

As much as I despise Java, this is a great use of it. This site utilizes the Java engine to create a Motion Following Haruhi. Move your cursor anywhere, her eyes follow! Zounds!

It's a good distraction for a bit, but one wonders if there will be any further developments.

Haruhi likes rice too.

Music Rice: Korean Band Caught Using FF:AC Copies Without Permission

It seems that there was a bit of a dispute between Square Enix and this Korean singer, IVY, about the similarity between both videos.

According to the video, it seems that they're down to a tier in terms of timing and filmography, as well as choreography.

One wonders what the staff behind IVY was thinking. Korea should have enough creativity given the vast amount of things they've done already; it is a pretty fashionable country.

Who were they trying to fool? Certainly not Square Enix.

Melty Rice: Results of Sac-Con

What I learned from my first tourney:

1) The more you think you're not nervous, the more you'll be.

2) NEVER 236C in the air, thinking it is safe. You're 2C/any ground combo fodder. (Then again, I never used this before, but for some reason I did just for the match :/)

3) Don't overplay before the day of.

That is all. I need revenge.

Or... maybe it's time to get back to my roots. Kooh did get a new outfit after all...

Mmm. Zippers and stripes.
